[Brand Identity, 2019]

Project focus:

Re-design the logo for the Museum of American Glass, creating B&W and color versions, logo animation, business card, and an additional application.

What is Museum of American Glass?

The Museum of American Glass (MoAG) exhibits glassworks to the public and preserves Southern New Jersey’s glassmaking heritage and its relationship to the history of glass made in America.

Design approach:

For the pictorial logo, I wanted to showcase the variety of glasswork the museum has with a color palette of glass (blues and greens). The warmer color palette in the branding system works as accent colors.

I was inspired by a deck of cards I got during a festival when I traveled to Japan so I designed a set of 2"x 4" small cards as an application for the museum that could be handed out as a souvenir to the visitors. The elements on the cards were all related to the museum’s collection or the glass-making process.
