Egyptian Magic

What is Egyptian Magic?
Egyptian Magic is a brand that provides a professional skincare product with multiple purposes and 100% natural ingredients, loved by many of Hollywood’s most famous celebrities.



Design approach:
In this project, I worked with the idea of "timelessness" because when I thought of Ancient Egyptian artwork, the main purpose was to be eternal. It could be an interesting promotion point that using the Egyptian Magic all-purpose skin cream could make the customers look forever young and be "timeless".
I used the Ancient Egyptian color palette of blue and yellow, created the bold graphics of the guards, God of Eternity, and the pattern, and I kept the graphic of the pyramid and life symbol from the original package.
For the jar, I kept the most essential information on the front. For the box of the jar, I made the front panel transparent and incorporated the idea of using the Ancient Egyptian guards, Anubis, to protect this precious product. I also designed a little graphic of splashing air on the tab of the lid to create the excitement of opening up this treasure box.



For the blister card, I used the turquoise color in the front to attract customers' attention and the light cream color at the back to give contrast, letting the customers enjoy the illustration of the God of Eternity and the outline version guards I introduced. The barcode is incorporated in the monochrome pattern.

For the tray and skirt design, I had mostly the turquoise color but with little light cream color to help to draw attention to the product. With my bold graphics, I also created a continuous design with the words "100% natural", "all purpose", and "skin cream", reading as "all purpose skin cream" when the trays are put side by side.
